It’s that time, yet again. The unforgiving task of updating the blog layout to match the new front of the website, which is due to replace the currently ugly under construction page very soon. So, crazyness is sure to ensue around these parts over the coming days.

If anyone out there is going to AGDA’s 48 event tomorrow night… I shall see you there!

Edit: Seems I’m smart enough to update the blog theme without disturbing the peace on this end. So there shouldn’t be any crazyness this time around! I’m getting good at this, woo hoo!

A sneaky little look at what mine and Peter’s A Thousand Shipwrecks entry looks like I mentioned a post or two ago. This is the exhibition poster sized version (A0!), and it will also feature in a smaller sized version in the Shipwreck’s debut publication. So, get on down to the book launch/exhibition at No Vacancy next Thursday, 30th July, to check out all the Shipwreck’s submissions. We’ll also be selling the poster at the exhibition, and possibly online a little further down the track.

I haven’t looked forward to a game release this much in a while. Scribblenauts on the Nintendo DS allows you to use pretty much any item imaginable (bar copyrighted or adult-rated items) to solve puzzles. All the items are interactive, and react differently when put in different situations.

I cannot imagine how long and hard it would have been to put together such a game… I didn’t believe that it was possible when I first read about it. So yeah, looks fun!

A while back now I was chosen to be a part of a new publication project set up by Melbourne art and design collective, A Thousand Shipwrecks. It has come full circle now, with the book launch and exhibition coming up at the end of the month. So feel free to pop on down to No Vacancy if you’re in town!

I’ll have images of the work, on which I collaborated with Peter Borg, on here as soon as I can! The new website layout is coming along slowly but surely, and hopefully will be up before the end of the month, along with some new and exciting jobs I’ve been working on recently.
